Kaladin is the only living of the latest-born descendants of the first Windrunner, maybe. (Or some other analogy to Syl's being the Ancient Daughter or what.) It is mentioned that Kaladin looks like Jezrien, so it is possible that our now deceased Herald had children other than Ash and Kaladin is one of their decendents.

Sylphrena, or Syl, is an honorspren on Roshar in the Stormlight Archive Series of novels that's bonded with Kaladin, making him a Windrunner. She is a splinter of Honor and one of the last eleven remaining honorspren created directly by the Stormfather. Among her kinsmen, she's known as the Ancient Daughter. At first, Kaladin believes her to be a windspren; she only reveals her true nature.

Kaladin and Syl The Way of Kings I don't know how to start this. I know there a few Kaladin x Syl shippers, and normally I would be one. In other works, she would be at least a love interest, but here the idea feels strange. Idk, I find really strange the idea of someone falling in love with their spren. You feel like this too?
